Shockwave Treatment

In a nutshell…

Shockwave is Radial Pressure Wave (RPW) therapy. An oscillation is repetitively delivered to injured tissue by way of a handheld device in the hands of a skilled practitioner. It is a localized treatment, and works directly on a problem area to help break up scar tissue, increase range of motion, and restore proper function to muscles/joints.

1. What does RPW feel like?

2. How long is a treatment?

Each treatment lasts 10-15 minutes.

3. How many treatments do I need?

Up to 8 treatments may be needed, 4-6 is most common.
